1. Who we are

RecoverKit ("we", "us", "our") is an automated payment reminder service operated by an individual developer at tryrecoverkit.com. We help individuals and businesses send professional payment reminder emails for outstanding invoices.

2. Data we collect and why

From creditors (senders who use our service)

• Name and email address — to send you confirmation and status emails
• Invoice details (amount, due date, description) — to populate reminder emails
• Payment information — processed by Stripe; we do not store card details

From debtors (recipients of reminder emails)

When a creditor submits an invoice chase, we receive the debtor's name and email address. This data is provided by the creditor and processed on the basis of the creditor's legitimate interest in recovering payment for services rendered. We use this data solely to send the reminder email sequence on behalf of the creditor.

Debtors may stop receiving emails at any time by clicking the "report this email" link in any reminder email.

3. Third-party services we use

• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend — email delivery. Resend receives recipient email addresses to deliver messages. See Resend's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare — infrastructure, database, and edge computing. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your data to any third party.

4. Data retention

Communication records are retained for the period selected at the time of submission:

• Free plan: 6 months
• Paid plans: 1, 2, 5, 10, or 30 years as selected

After the retention period expires, campaign data is deleted from our systems. Stripe and Resend may retain transaction and delivery logs per their own policies.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@tryrecoverkit.com. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are a debtor who received a reminder email and wish to stop receiving further emails, click the "report this email" link in the email or contact us directly.

6. Cookies

RecoverKit does not use tracking cookies. We use only essential session data required to operate the service.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
